What is EUNIS-CZ

EUNIS-CZ is an independent special-interest association of legal entities, it is politically neutral and does not engage in any political activities. The Association is open to any legal entity engaged in introduction, development, control, or use of information system at Czech universities.

Objectives of EUNIS-CZ

The main objectives are the following:

  1. promote exchange of views among universities, their computing and information centres, departments and institutes of computer and information technology,
  2. formulate common standpoints and enforce common interests of universities in the field of computer and information technologies,
  3. cooperate with suppliers of information technology, with partner and foreign associations and organizations.

Organization of EUNIS-CZ

The Association is based on democratic principles. The bodies of the Association consist of annual conferences, the executive committee, and special commissions. It is the right of any member to participate in the activities of the Association, and attend annual conferences. All members of the Association are bound to observe the Statutes of the Association and pay membership dues as stipulated by the annual conference. The present amount of the members fee amounts to 10 000,- Kč (ten thousand Czech crowns). The amount of the memberřs fee may be changed by the decision of the annual conference.

EUNIS European Organization and its National Branches

European Organization for University Information Systems - EUNIS was established in 1993. This organization is an umbrella for individual national organizations whose objectives are similar to those of EUNIS-CZ.
