CONFERENCE MATERIALS (CZECH)
Monolithic information systems no longer suit the dynamic environment of universities and the number of links between individual agendas. Decision-making must be based on current data, their transfer between systems must be fast, automated and error-free. Changes in the IS architecture must proceed smoothly, reliably and with reasonable costs, only then can the school's information organism function in the long term. Do we have the appropriate technologies for such requirements?
Managing changes and change projects is a big challenge. Can we set clear and feasible goals? Do we have sufficient resources to complete a change project? What is the role of a project manager in the academic environment and where can we find a suitable person? What is a significant change from the perspective of ZoKB? Managing the priorities of concurrent projects and the problems of financing from various sources can also be a separate topic.
This year's conference organized by the EUNIS-CZ association will attempt to answer these and other questions. The event is intended primarily for university staff who are involved in information systems administration, management, and administrative activities.

Send suggestions to borik@eunis.cz. The program will be compiled from selected contributions, the program committee reserves the right to include other suitable topics in the program. Annotations with authors' contact details will be published in the printed proceedings.

The EUNIS-CZ association pays the deposit for participants from EUNIS member organizations.

The conference days will be Monday, June 8 to Wednesday, June 10, 2026. The professional program of the conference begins on Monday at 1 p.m. and ends on Wednesday before lunch.
Accommodation prices at Harmony Club Hotel for registered conference participants:
double room for two persons 2,690 CZK per night with breakfast
double room occupied by one person 2,290 CZK per night with breakfast
The price for accommodation includes breakfast, VAT and access to the swimming pool and whirlpool for the entire duration of the stay. The price does not include parking: 200 CZK / car and night including VAT and tourist tax.
